Ca. 60 Snow Buntings were present at the south end this morning. These birds are being recorded only intermittently as they roam the salicornia beds between TF440985 and TF450960 and are thus unattainable when the bombing range is open. Other highlights were 40 Whooper Swans, a Common Buzzard and a Merlin. |
