Location: Swanpool, Lincoln
Large influx of dabbling ducks on the mere with 263 Teal, 69 Gadwall and 11 Shoveler, none of which were present yesterday. All the Teal were thoroughly checked for Green-winged with the usual result!
Also 17 Tufted Duck, 9 Pochard and 1 Goldeneye.
Very few small birds seen in the strong wind.

Nearly all the dabbling ducks from 10th had moved on this morning.
Only ducks present were 2 Gadwall, c40 Mallard, 16 Pochard & 20 Tufted Duck.
Also at the mere were 1 Little Grebe, 1 Water Rail & 1 Kingfisher.
