Managed first half an hour on patch this morning without seeing another person (or dog)  but by the same token saw very few birds and was struggling with IDs. Was getting one of those sod birds, stamps will be more interesting moments when i came across a flock of Long-tailed Tits (14), Blue Tits and Goldcrest (2) with very close views. Life was put back on an even keel.Other highlights Green Woodpecker (1) - Patch Tick Redwing (4) Curlew (25) Goldfinch (20+) Kingfisher James |
