A walk around Boultham park and fringes this morning. Lake 90% frozen. Nuthatch Coal tit 2 Jay 2 Redwing 4 Meadow pipit Pied Wagtail 2 Mistle thrush Bullfinch m+f Sparrowhawk f Chaffinch 2 Goldfinch 10 Wren Goldcrest 2 Greenfinch 2 Canada goose 20 Greylag Mallard 30+ Goosander 4m over river Black- headed gull 100+ Common gull 3 Coot 12 Moorhen 5 Mute swan 3 Starling 12 House sparrow 8 Collared dove 2 Robin 6 Great tit 6 Blue tit 10 Long tailed tit 8 Magpie 8 Stockdove Blackbird 5 Pigeon 20 + Crow 12 Jackdaw 5 Magpie 8 Tufted 2 There seems to be unusual lack of Siskins in the park for the time of year. only seen on two occasions this winter then only a two and three.
