The photos were taken yesterday (21st) on Auckland Road but I didn't find it again this lunchtime.

I understand that it was first seen on Tuesday on the roof of the pontoon. I did tweet about it yesterday but it wasn't picked up by anybody.

Did find a very nice Adult Med Gull on the site of the demolished pontoon plus 25+ Turnstone around various parts of the docks.

both birds there today but note that security has been stepped up on the Docks and it is now not easy to get on without a pass; as far as I am aware just saying you are birding will no longer gain guaranteed access so be prepared

Iceland Gull on Auckland Road again at 1315 today (02/02).

Parked up in the car and scanned through the hordes of Black-headed, Herring, Common and Lesser-black backed on the skip and pontoon roof but couldn't see it.

Looked down to see it stood on road about 10 feet in front of the car :D

Added to forum and Tweeted at almost the sametime.
