A wet morning on the patch. As I walked across a Bittern got up from the borrow pit and flew over to the east end of the mere. On the mere were 1 Shelduck, 3 Wigeon, 16 Gadwall, 2 Shovelers, 11 Pochard, 13 Tufted Duck and 2 Goosanders. The Shelduck and Wigeon were new for the year putting me on 81 species for PWC. |
