Extremely wind swept on the Fens today, with sleet at times, though a few spells of sunshine. Highlights-

Grey Partridge 5+
Little Owl 2 (18:30)

Aubourn estate
Buzzard 3
Sparrowhawk 1
Skylark 11
Kestrel 2
Meadow Pipit c20
Yellowhammer 15+
Reed Bunting 6

Blackmoor Bridge
Wigeon 200 +
Gadwall 9
Teal 42 +
Shoveler 5
Buzzard 4
Oystercatcher 1
Golden Plover 18, plus 16 over
Lapwing c75
Stock Dove 3
Kingfisher 1 (drain adjacent to Blackmoor Road)
Kestrel 1
Sadly, also, a long dead Kestrel beside Blackmoor Road (not wearing a ring)

Bassingham Fen Lane area
Buzzard 1
Golden Plover 6
Kestrel 2
Skylark 6+
Reed Bunting 12+
