A 5.5 mile walk from Coastguard to Mablethorpe north end and back with ED Mackrill, bird sightings included shorelark 3, snow bunting 15, curlew 181 , starling c 150 c 200 common gull and 40 black headed gulls on wet grassland near Gas terminal,where new wildlife ditches are being created in HLS scheme. also 1 m 1 f stonechat in dunes. regards John |

Edmund took a few seconds close up video of one party of 9 snow buntings including 3 males they showed characteristics of the sub species nivalis the Fenno-Scandian race, they were feeding along the strandline near the south end of the NNR. regards John |
