The Lincs Bird Club is grateful to all observers who submit records, but especially those who do so on a regular basis throughout the year as this certainly speeds up the input of records into the database. We are now making a start on the 2014 Bird Report, so please ensure we have ALL your records.... You can submit by sending direct to the county recorders (or by post via address on contact page); Recorder North: recorder_north@lincsbirdclub.co.uk Recorder South: recorder_south@lincsbirdclub.co.uk Or, by... i) posting direct on the Lincs Bird Club Forum (all records from the forum are automatically added to the database) ii) Using the LBC template (see viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14855) iii) Submit your records on BTO Birdtrack (See BTO website http://www.bto.org) These are the only way we receive your data... Species considered rare at county level are dealt with by the Lincolnshire Bird Records Committee. The committee currently comprises Graham Catley, Phil Hyde, James Siddle and Andy Sims. The secretary is Roy Harvey. Please send all details and descriptions of any LRBC species to Roy Harvey; roy.harvey100@btinternet.com. All records of LRBC species should be submitted as soon as possible after the sighting and not left until the end of each year. County rarities accepted by the LBRC will be published in the report together with the initials of the finder/identifier. The verification of the data that appears in the annual report is essential to the production of an accurate and meaningful report. A systematic approach to the verification of ALL rare bird records, no matter who has reported them, prior to the production of the annual report is required before they are published. For the record, these are the species which are at present on the LBRC list are...
