A brief visit to the pumping station area near South Hykeham this afternoon surprisingly accounted for 33 sp. being recorded. Highlight certainly being 5 Curlews flying fairly low up the Witham towards me at 15:30, appearing to land on Harmston Low Fields farm land. Best birds this afternoon- Grey Partridge 2 Buzzard 4 Curlew 5 over Kestrel 2 Skylark 4 Meadow Pipit 2 Reed Bunting 2 Regards, Ben. |
