Two Common Cranes flew through Donna Nook between 0920 and 0930 this morning. They were following the line of the dunes to the NW, but kept turning into the wind and crossing the shore as though contemplating a crossing to the very clear Yorkshire coast. However, when I lost sight of them beyond Stonebridge, they were still heading into the Humber on the Lincolnshire side. One Chiffchaff was also seen.
