The highlight of the day was undoubtedly a Common Crane which flew low south-east over Syke's Farm, presumably this is the same bird that flew south at Spurn on the 15th March? Other notable species for the day were 72 Corn Bunting, a Bullfinch, 2 Chiffchaff and 34 Avocet. No sign of any Sand Martins or Wheatears as yet! Cheers, Richard |
