Post subject:  South Hykeham, Aubourn and Blackmoor Bridge 18.03.2015

Stunning sights to be seen this afternoon and evening. A huge number of birds benefiting from fields being prepared and sewn with seed potatoes, Gulls, Wagtails, also Kestrels and Buzzards on the ground. The highlight though was a spectacular Starling murmuration over the fens, often passing low over me, which was a superb surprise as the highest number of birds I had noted in the area until now was around 300. Best birds around today-
