Enjoyed a great visit to the North Hykeham Pits, before the LWT area group meeting at the centre this evening. Started with Millennium Pit, mid-afternoon, then Teal until dusk/dark. I was surprised to get Meadow Pipit on the grazed aspect of Teal (NW corner) as I understand that they are fairly scarce on the reserve area (as of the 2013 Bird Report). Full BTO BirdTrack lists-
