Nothing seen flying backwards but one Dark-bellied Brent Goose landed in a wheat field and grazed at about 1630. Our first record here of one on the ground inside the river wall. It didn't look very well. |

Presumably the same bird that was at Barton last week and has been with the Barnacle flock at Alkborough of late: it seems to be falling over forwards when walking but looks ok in flight |
