Nothing seen flying backwards but one Dark-bellied Brent Goose landed in a wheat field and grazed at about 1630. Our first record here of one on the ground inside the river wall. It didn't look very well.

Presumably the same bird that was at Barton last week and has been with the Barnacle flock at Alkborough of late: it seems to be falling over forwards when walking but looks ok in flight
