Hi Andrew Had more than my fair share of starlings on the feeders this winter , mealworms are the big attractant . Anyway put up two Starling boxes last winter one in a tree and one on the house both are now occupied furious nest building going on at the moment . Ps They need all the help we can give them ! |

Just got back . Birds of note mainly fro the Teal lake viewpoint :- 2 Stock Doves , 3 Little Egrets , 1 Green Sandpiper GULLS - Mainly black headed (1500+ with a split of 50% adult and 50% 1st summer birds) 3 Common , 4 Great black backed and 1 Lesser . Good flock of 23 Greenfinches in the Birch on the way back to the centre . |

Hi Steve, visited Teal Lake today as well- Common Snipe 2, Oystercatcher 2, Goldeneye 3 and Sparrowhawk. Would have loved Green Sandpiper on the list! Regards, Ben. |
