After a walk to Pye's Hall in blustery conditions and not seeing anything better than 2 Chffchaffs we were heading for the car park when Sheila said she could see a bird in the top of a bush but didn't know what it was as the sun was in her eyes. After moving to see the bird better it was obvious that it was a Great Grey Shrike.
It was in a line of bushes in the re-alignment area about 200m north of the car park at Stonebridge.
The day finished well!
