More migrants today included 10-12 Swallows with 1 bird with no streamers or tail - very strange appearance in flight. Also 7 Chiffchaff, 4 Willow Warbler, pair Blackcaps. A Gadwall was an unusual duck for this location.

White-throated Needletail has no streamers and very little tail Ian.
Was it definitely a Barn Swallow?

Roy.

In all other aspects it was a Barn Swallow - flight, wing shape and colour. It has been there for 2 days now. I will call again today and try and get a photo.
