My brother Robert visited Greetwell Quarry yesterday (16/04) and told me he had seen 5 Wheatear and 2f and 1m RingOuzel
We returned today together with James Hewson and saw at least 2 Wheatear and 1M and 1F Ring Ouzel, also Blackcap, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff , Bullfinch, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel and a Buzzard resting on the cliff of the quarry.

Best Wishes
Derek

Had an enjoyable wander around Greetwell Hollow/Quarry this morning. No sign of any Ring Ouzel but I did get
Swallow (singles through)
Sand Martin (single through)
Bullfinch
Chiff Chaff
Willow Warbler (several)
Blackcap
Linnet
Meadow Pipit
Rook
Crow
Jackdaw
Raven (2 calling going North at 10 am )
Common Buzzard (2 together)
Wheatear (single male- a cracking bird)
Pied Wagtail
Magpie
Plus the usual tits and finches.

By late morning it had become quite busy and the presence of an off road 4x4 being put through its paces rather put everything down.
