Personal firsts for the spring at the south end were 2 Grasshopper Warblers, Sedge Warbler, Whimbrel and Common Sandpiper. Other birds of note were 3 Common Whitethroats, 3 Willow Warblers, 2 Chiffchaffs, Wheatear, 4 Yellow Wagtails, 8 Swallows, House Martin, Little Ringed Plover, Common Buzzard and Hen Harrier. |
