Saxby area (North of Lincoln) 18/04/15 Early BBS visit produced 44 species in the square with another 3 species just outside. Included: Golden plover 1 (flyover calling) Curlew 2 Lapwing 2 Little owl 2 Tree sparrow 1 Buzzard 1 Tufted duck 15 (on small farm reservoirs) Little grebe 1 (ditto). Willow warbler 2 Blackcap 4 Chiffchaff 5 Skylark 17 Corn bunting 1 (outside square). Cheers Brian |
