There were at least five Ring Ouzels in a horse paddock in Nettleton this morning owned by a member of the Mid-Lincs Ringing Group. A male was ringed which was the first inland Ring Ouzel ringed by the Group.

I found a single male feeding on the horse paddocks alongside the approach track to Messingham Sand Quarries nature reserve this morning, which as far as i'm aware is the first documented record for the reserve.

Regards,

Steve.
