Highlights from Goosemans Field and Grimsby Cemetery this morning:
Goosemans:
2 Wheatear
4 Whitethroat
3 Blackcap
1 Yellow Wagtail (over)
5 Curlew
Cemetery
2-3 Lesser Whitethroat
2 Whitethroat
2 Willow Warbler
2 Blackcap (pair)
1 Redwing calling from Peakesfield Allotments.
All of the breeding warblers are now here on the patch. Was difficult to determine L. Whitethroat numbers, safe estimate is 2 but individuals encountered far enough apart to be possible 3rd. Will try to confirm tomorrow.
Late report from 18/04:
1 Grasshopper Warbler (silent) + 1 Lesser Redpoll in cemetery as per Chris Heaton.
