3hrs at Marston STW in the am produced 1 Common Swift (earliest I have ever seen in Lincs), 1 Common Sandpiper, pr Oystercatcher, 1 Lapwing (displaying - has this species even bred here recently?), Kingfisher, Cormorant, pr Shoveler & 1 Reed Warbler (earliest I have ever seen here). The male Channel Wagtail was still in the field by the Hotel with 15 Yellow Wagtails but the sheep and fencing are gone and I doubt it will stay much longer.

Had a drive round looking for Dotterel, Stone Curlew & Ring Ouzels around Fulbeck/Rauceby/Ancaster and jammed in on two Ring Ouzels along Waterwell Lane, there were in the grassy field covered in dandelions west of Stone Gables. 3 Pairs of Lapwings along the road there too.

Two pairs of Curlews on Barkestone Heath Airfield; no sign in the past two days of the pair at Foston that formerly frequented unimproved grasslands along the Witham.

Pair Grey Wagtail at Denton, plus Kingfisher & 3 pr Marsh Tits.
