Baston Pits
Lesser Whitethroat
Garden Warbler 1
Reed Warbler1
Sedge Warblers
Red Crested Pochard
Common Sandpiper (Grommit's scrape)

Deeping Lakes
At least 2 Arctic Terns with 30 - 40 Common Terns
1 Common Sandpiper along river
2 singing Garden Warblers one on reserve and one just off
1 Red Kite
2 Kingfishers

Willow Tree Fen
All 3 hirundines including at least 20 each of House and Sand Martins
4 Yellow Wagtails
2 Ruff
At least 4 each of singing Sedge and Reed Warblers.

79 species of bird in total in just 4 hours.

Also at Willow Tree fen this morning, amongst other things:
1 male whinchat (along central track)
4 ruff
4 redshank
3 lt ringed plover
9 late golden plover in striking breeding plumage
1 cuckoo
1 wigeon
9 reed warbler
7 sedge warbler
2 whitethroat
2 common tern
