Highlights at the south end between the rain this afternoon included my first Swift and first Turtle Dove, a female Redstart, 3 Wheatears, a pair of Garganey and a Greenshank. A late Jack Snipe was on the outmarsh and a party of 17 Kittiwakes was resting on the tide-line. Six more Wheatears were seen by Mark Johnson between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall. |
