6 Whimbrels were on the Blackmoor scrape when I arrived this afternoon, which soon flew north. I was just reflecting on this when no more than 15 minutes later I heard unmistakeable calling and watched a group of 11 Whimbrels fly in from the south which then dropped in right in front of me on the scrape, these birds stayed for around 20 minutes or so before flying north. White Wagtail still present also. Regards, Ben. |
