Post subject:  Whinchat at Evedon

Whilst on a walk around Haverholme, Ewerby and Evedon, I chanced apon a Whinchat in the scrubby area just beyond the last house out of Papermill Lane. Unfortunately I had not taken my camera, so missed some potentially good shots. Other sightings in the area were;
Black headed gull
Blackbird
Blue tit
Buzzard
Chaffinch
Chiffchaff
Collared dove
Carrion Crow
Dunnock
Goldfinch
Great tit
Grey wagtail
Heron
House sparrow
Jackdaw
Kestrel
Lapwing
Linnet
Magpie
Mallard
Moorhen
Mute Swan
Pheasant
Reed bunting
Reed warbler
Robin
Sedge warbler (along the River Slea)
Skylark
Sparrow hawk
Starling
Swallow
Whitethroat

I returned to Evedon today in the hope of a photo, but no sign of the whinchat between 12.30 & 13.30.

However, to add to yesterday's list i saw;
Pied wagtail
Red kite
Stock dove
