Best numbers of Hirundine and Swift this year at Blackmoor Bridge, c80 House Martins, c45 Swifts, c30 Swallows and a handful of Sand Martins. Also 5 Yellow Wagtails, a Curlew and a Redshank. Cuckoo at Aubourn, a Barn Owl, 2 Grey Partridges and a Little Egret wading in the Witham (not a common sight), was best there. Regards, Ben. |
