Post subject:  Donna Nook, 16th May.

A seawatch at the south end between 0945 and 1100 produced southerly passage of 13 Gannets, one Fulmar, 220 Herring Gulls, 25 Great Back-backs and 4 Lesser Black-backs. A Peregrine was near the tide-line. A Turtle Dove and 5 Yellow Wagtails were on the similarly quiet dunes and 40 Swallows, 3 House Martins and 7 Common Swifts flew north.
Singles of Common Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Blackcap and Reed Warbler were all singing in my garden in the afternoon.
