Not many waders on the realignment area today, hence 20 Common Ringed Plovers, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 5 Dunlin, 26 Avocets, 5 Oystercatchers and singles of Whimbrel, Common Sandpiper and Redshank. Other birds of note were 2 Common Buzzards, Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, Shoveler, Wheatear and Kingfisher. 138 Common Swifts came in across the mouth of the Humber and continued mainly SW inland. |
