Two turtle doves (a pair hopefully) showed very well on the ground by the the big barn 300 or 400 yards inland from the Frampton Marsh carpark. A very windy and uncomfortable place to be today. We couldn't find the white-rumped sandpiper in the hurricane |

2 Turtle Doves together on the road at Pinchbeck Fen Slipe, close to Willow Tree Fen reserve. Just missed getting them in my BBS there, but got them in my Birdtrack list, total 38 species. Less good news about Turtle Doves in Dunsby where none heard for over a fortnight now. Only one was ever seen and it appears to have moved on. Hugh Dorrington |
