Male nearly hit car yesterday near Lissington. How it got out of way I do not know. It turned mid air on a 'sixpence' !

Hi Bob

An inland late June Ring Ouzel is likely unprecedented (in South Kesteven even more so) even given the remarkable passage this year, any more information, what sex? Seen well?

cheers

Male as I stated, Lissington is West Lindsey, between Market Rasen and Wragby, not South Kesteven.

As it turned in mid air the breast patch was clear, as were the silvery wing patches. A very slim agile bird.

Hi Bob

I clearly need to work on reading reports accurately... thanks for the update, either way an amazing record, the last passage birds were reported in early June.

cheers
