I was surprised to see a single Sandwich Tern flying over Market Rasen Golf Course and Dog Kennel Wood this morning. There are no large bodies of water or rivers nearby and I always thought that terns tended to follow rivers etc. Is it common for them to be seen 25 miles inland over woodland? |
