Spent an hour in the hide this afternoon, with the usual wildfowl, gulls and terns. Working through the BHG's on the island produced an adult summer-plumaged Med Gull. Unfortunately all the gulls were flushed by a dog entering the water and the Med Gull could not be re-located but may still be present.

A brief visit yesterday found a pair of Avocets with three young and a pair of LRP's with two young - all appeared to have hatched within the last couple of days.

Also had a brief fly-by Kingfisher and a female Sparrowhawk.

Cheers,
