Highlights on the WeBS count for the realignment area included 3 Green Sandpipers, 3 Greenshanks, 73 Redshanks, 5 Avocets, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 5 Knot, 32 Little Egrets, a juvenile Yellow-legged Gull, a juvenile Cuckoo and 8 Yellow Wagtails. Passing over to the south were 39 Whimbrels in 4 parties, 130 Swallows, 19 Sand Martins and 4 Swifts. |
