Bird in breeding plumage still present at 1600 today - on main lake to right of island but fairly distant.

A little tern also present - initially fishing over the pit by the entrance - later saw the same bird perched on a tern raft on the pit to the west of the path to the hide. Thanks to the birders who put me on to this initially.
