Another great day at Gib with an increase in warbler numbers.
I managed to bump into two Wrynecks - one I found yesterday was sunning itself just after dawn and a new bird in East Dunes - and another five (possibly six) were noted - 7 is a Gib record!
Following an excursion to Millennium Ridge, where I had Grasshopper Warbler and Tree Pipit, I was fortunate to come across a fine Juv Red-backed Shrike near Mill Hill.
Personal totals included 93 Willow Warblers, 2 Garden Warblers, 14 Lesser Whitethroats, 11 Pied Flycatchers, 4 Spotted Flycatchers, 9 Whinchats, 3 Tree Pipits, 3 Redstarts, 3 Marsh harriers, Merlin and 2 Wood Sandpipers.
A Temminck's Stint was noted after I had left.
