Should be in the Butterfly section but Silver-washed Fritillary at Chambers Farm Wood!!!!! Is it yet another unauthorised introduction at a National Nature Reserve or perhaps it flew there?? |

Does anyone look in the Butterfly section?? As to the origin of this specimen, well it was spotted initially by two amateur cameramen, and I was just passing. I have read that the numbers of this species are increasing and some may be coming from the Continent. I know nothing about introductions. I did see one in Greetwell Hollow last year. |
