Had a late decision to head over to the coast yesterday morning for a sea watch with Dean Nicholson.. Conditions were good, with cloud a chilly wind and rain..
We arrived at 9.45am getting instant views of a Black Tern and a Red Throated Diver...
We were joined a little over an hour later by Andy Sims, Rich Bennett and Ben Ward, the peace being destroyed in an instant..!
Seriously, we had a great few hours and a very enjoyable fun sea watch. Two mass south bound passages of Swallows and House Martins being a grand sight to see.. 3 Swifts, my first for a fortnight and surely my last of the year.. A Peg coming in off the sea, a Short Eared Owl getting harassed by a couple of Crows an Arctic Skua pestering a Sarny Tern and my first Lincs Fulmar..
Grand time chaps...! Thanks..
