Common Redstart this morning + 15 Long t Tit, and juv Bullfinch, ( 1-2 pairs breed here ) + 20 House Martin thru, *birds noted on or over the site in the last week or so include :- Spotted Flycatcher, Common Buzzard, Grey Wagtail, a few Mipit, Coal Tit, the odd Redpoll and Siskin, Lesser Whitethroat ( 2-3 pairs breed ), Common Whitethroat ( 4-5 pairs breed ) Blackcap ( 1-2 pairs breed ), Sprawk and Kestrel daily, 25 Pinkfeet sth yesterday. i have started a new blog, mainly for allotment sightings/pics. link below. |
