Large flock of wigeon feeding on the wet grassland to the north of the pathway to the bank. Flock size estimate of 250-300 birds. Lovely, crisp plumages. Also 15 Little Egret and circa 7 Curlew. VERY low flypast of a large military plane of some sort. Possibly because of events at Coningsby? |
