juv Garganey still on the scrape, also one Wigeon new in and 6 Shoveler with 120 Teal and 4 Little Egrets. 64 Pink-footed Geese west at great height and significant raptor passage in the form of 1 Red Kite, 1 Marsh Harrier (an adult female), 15 Common Buzzards (some presumably local) & 1 ad Hobby. 2 Ravens interacted with a kettle of 6 Buzzards at one point, good to unblock that one. 25 Chiffchaffs and 2 Blackcaps but no YBW*.
*made a fairly brief visit to Denton beforehand where the Red-crested Pochard is still present and I thought I heard a distant YBW (one call once) at the spillway end, but despite hanging around for 30 mins heard nothing more so maybe wishful thinking.
