The most notable birds at the south end this morning were 3 Yellow-browed Warblers, 2 Chiffchaffs, one Firecrest, 4 Goldcrests, 11 Siskins, one Lapland Bunting, one Rock Pipit, 2 Greenshanks and 46 Pink-footed Geese. Good numbers of finches, pipits and buntings continued to exploit the weedy areas around the flashes and included 150 Linnets, 120 Goldfinches, 35 Greenfinches, 35 Chaffinches, 50 Reed Buntings and 160 Meadow Pipits.
