An amazing 9 Yellow browed Warblers today ! 7 of which self finds.

4 North Shore, Skegness, 2 along the western edge of the golf course, 2 by the car park near the hotel.

2 in the grounds of the Royal Renaissance Hotel, south Skegness, 1 just to the north of the pier, by the first canal bridge. We also had 5 Stonechats in the area of dunes straight out from the clock tower. The only other birds of note were 10+ Chiffchaff, a few Blackcap and 9 Grey Wags. No obvious vis migration, other than 2 parties of Goldfinch south.

2 more Yellow browed Warblers heard only at Gib, 1 by the yacht club, 1 near the beach car park this evening. 4 Spotted Redshanks and 1 Greenshank in front of the hides.

All in all a fantastic Lincolnshire birding day, with Ben Ward

Regards

David
