A party of 20 Redwings headed SW inland at 0755 before the onset of rain which, combined with the strong wind, resulted in much lower counts of most species. Other birds of interest at the south end were 12 Goldcrests, one Yellow-browed Warbler, 4 Song thrushes, one Stonechat, one Brambling and 2 Pintail.
