Yellow-browed Warbler was a nice surprise in a mist net at Aveland Trees / Dunsby Sewage Treatment Works this morning. Three Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcap, 6 Goldcrest, 19 Lesser Redpolls were among the 90 birds ringed - rest mainly Greenfinches and Goldfinches which both seem to have had a good breeding year. Alan |

An excellent record - were you using tapes for the Goldcrests and Lesser Redpolls? |
