Highlights between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall before the onset of the rain were 960 Brent Geese, the Ruddy Shelduck hybrid, 2 Pintail, one Great Spotted Woodpecker, 9 Long-tailed Tits, 5 Goldcrests, one Stonechat, one Ring Ouzel, 5 Siskins, one Brambling, 25 Twite and one Lapland Bunting. In the afternoon, a Common Buzzard and a Red Kite were playfully interacting over North Somercotes Warren and the fields towards the dunes. |
