Corking Autumn's day on the reserve. Highlights were:- Hen Harrier - 1 m Marsh Harrier - 4+ Peregrine - 1 Short-eared Owl - 1 Merlin - 1 Kestrel - 2 Common Buzzard - 2 Golden Plover - 300+ Spotted Redshank - 2 Knot - 1 Whooper Swan - 2 Fieldfare - 1 Also, 250+ Pink-footed Geese feeding on the on fields on Wyberton Roads, about mile north of reserve. |
